Codex of Fortune

Codex of Fortune is a video slot by NetEnt, launched in 2021. This game is built around a 5-reel, 4-row setup with 40 fixed paylines and is well known for its high volatility, paired with an average RTP of 96%. It’s a thrilling choice for players who appreciate games with larger potential swings.

Gameplay and Features

Codex of Fortune brings a unique twist with its Fortune Wins system. The butterfly is the wild symbol, able to replace any regular icon and help you land winning lines. Land two scatter symbols and you trigger the Fortune Re-Spins, letting you collect special symbols to fill the Fortune Wins meter and move up prize levels. Hit three scatters to open the Free Spins round, where collected key symbols boost your chances of reaching higher reward levels. A Save the Keys feature lets you keep collected keys from the re-spins and use them in free spins, adding an extra layer to your strategy.

Theme and Design

The game takes its cues from classic French Art Nouveau, featuring reels set on a rich blue backdrop covered in detailed symbols such as lions, owls, turtles, fish, and snails, crafted to look like fine jewellery. Classic card suits from J to A represent the lower-paying icons. The Fortune Wins meter, a golden cylindrical vault, sits to the left of the reels—always within sight.

Mobile Compatibility

Codex of Fortune is fully optimised for play on smartphones and tablets, ensuring that Zimbabwe players can enjoy smooth spinning whether at home or on the go.

You can place bets from as little as $0.20 up to $100 per spin, with a top win potential of 10,000 times your stake. With its elegant visuals and clever features, Codex of Fortune offers a premium slot experience for those looking for highly rewarding and exciting gameplay.
