Folsom Prison

Folsom Prison is a high-volatility slot from Nolimit City, launched in 2022. It features a 5-reel setup with a starting 2-2-2-2-2 formation that gives you 16 ways to win. The game offers a range of flexible mechanics that can expand the grid, opening up to 46,664 ways to win.

Gameplay and Features

This game stands out with innovative elements like the xWays and xSplit symbols. The xWays symbol can switch into any other symbol, boosting your chances of landing winning lines. xSplit symbols, which appear on the middle rows of reels 2 to 5, split the full row, doubling your symbols and increasing the win ways even further.

A key feature is the Cockroach Nest, where Cockroach symbols can land anywhere, and their nests spawn randomly on the three central reels. These nests unlock locked spots and add multipliers, ramping up your chances for even bigger wins.

Folsom Prison includes two types of free spins: Walk the Line and The Chair. Land three scatter symbols to activate Walk the Line for at least eight free spins, or get four scatters to trigger The Chair with eight or more free spins. During free spins, you’re guaranteed Cockroach Nests, which can lead to higher multipliers and more expanded reels.

Theme and Design

The slot draws inspiration from the notorious Folsom State Prison, complete with gritty visuals and sounds that transport you into an intense prison setting. The blues rock soundtrack adds to the immersive feel of the game.
