Gaze of Gold: Mega Hold & Win

Gaze of Gold: Mega Hold & Win is an engaging online slot by iSoftBet, inspired by the legends of Greek mythology and the mythical Medusa. Launched in July 2023, this slot offers a classic 5-reel, 3-row setup with 20 paylines and allows bets from $0.20 up to $20 per spin.

Gameplay and Features

The game features an impressive RTP of 95.95% with medium to high volatility, promising players intense gameplay and the chance to win up to 15,000 times their bet. One of the unique features is the Gorgon's Gaze Modifier, which can activate at random during base play, turning winning symbols or Golden Shields into stone and locking them in place. The reels respin, and new winning symbols or Golden Shields that land will also be turned to stone and locked, continuing the sequence until no more winning symbols land or the Mega Hold & Win feature is triggered.

The main attraction is the Mega Hold & Win Bonus, activated by landing at least five Golden Shield symbols. This bonus starts on a 5x3 grid and comes with three respins. Each Golden Shield can reveal values ranging from 1x to 50x your bet. Only Golden Shields and Booster symbols appear during this feature, and the grid can expand as far as 7x11, increasing your chances for big wins. There are two special Booster symbols: the Multiplier Booster, which multiplies all values on Golden Shields by 2x, 3x, or 5x, and the Collect Booster, which gathers all values from Golden Shields and adds them to itself. Players can also opt for the Golden Bet feature, increasing their stake by 50% to boost opportunities for triggering the Gorgon's Gaze or Mega Hold & Win bonuses.

Theme and Design

The design transports players straight into a mystical Greek landscape, with detailed graphics and a soundtrack that suits the mythological setting. Symbols include playing card icons styled in Greek designs and theme symbols like bows, helmets, Pegasus, and warriors. The Wild symbol, represented by an eye, replaces all regular symbols except the Golden Shields.

Mobile Compatibility

Gaze of Gold: Mega Hold & Win is fully optimised for both desktop and mobile devices, making it easy for Zimbabwean players to enjoy the action from anywhere. With its engaging blend of expanding reels, respins, and multipliers, this slot creates an exciting experience for fans of Greek mythology and big-win action.
