The Legend of Shangri-La: Cluster Pays

Begin an adventurous yet calming experience with The Legend of Shangri-La: Cluster Pays, a 6-reel, 5-row video slot from NetEnt released in 2017. This slot makes use of the Cluster Pays™ mechanic, where you win by landing clusters of nine or more matching symbols touching each other horizontally or vertically.

Gameplay and Features

Enjoy interesting features like Sticky Re-Spins, which activate when you have at least two non-winning clusters of the same symbol. These symbols stay put as the rest of the reels re-spin, giving you more chances to get a winning combination. There’s also Random Substitutions, triggered when two clusters of the same symbol (with at least four symbols each) show up. Here, a substitution symbol appears next to the clusters and might turn into a matching symbol to complete a win. The Nudge Reel feature jumps in when two free spin symbols land, and a third is just out of view — the reel nudges to bring in the third, activating Free Spins. Landing three or more free spin symbols triggers the Free Spins feature, where substitution symbols randomly appear, boosting the chance to win.

The betting range goes from €0.10 up to €200 per spin, and the slot boasts an RTP of 96.59%. With low to medium volatility, it offers a fair mix between frequent smaller wins and occasional bigger prizes.

The slot sets you in calm, scenic mountain surroundings, enhanced with cherry blossoms and flowing waterfalls. You’ll be accompanied by a wise monk character, giving the game an extra touch of adventure and tranquillity.
